Here is a Show & Tell for a White Weenie deck built using only commons from MTG. It includes an analysis of the basic deck and suggestions for alterations to the card choice.

  • How do you play pauper?

  • @Leonidus96 Same way you play Magic, same play rules, you just use all commons for your deck building.

  • @Leonidus96 I have only played using cards, rather than online.

  • im interested in seeing the storm deck

  • @skatermetal69 That's going to be an interesting one to do as it has Frantic Search in it which, at the time it was put together, was not banned in Pauper. So, it will be interesting to work out what changes can be made to make the build tourney legal. Of course, this would not affect it outside of that.

  • Good tip on the Kor Skyfisher. Really interesting take on an ability I as a noob would have dismissed as rather poor. As you can tell I'm not very good at this game. :)

  • @daft990 Bouncing lands, and replaying them, is a good trick to play around with, look for cards that have a landfall ability to exploit this further.

  • I actually built and played this deck for a little over a year, used riftwatchers instead of the lone missionaries & order of lietbur (sp?). fun deck, good if you dislike counter spells (suspend), just a good staple deck overall. Teachings & Palor tricks, were my other favs besides this one.

  • No suntail hawk. Not a proper ww imo lol.

  • @daft990 For my card collection I use mostly UltraPro stuff. I have most of my playsets of cards in, so called, penny sleeves then in storage boxes when they are not in specific decks, just to make it easier for finding stuff. I also have some of the key stuff in those plastic 9-pocket pages that are used for collectable cards. Decks, like this one I just sleeve up in some UltraPro "Let's Duel" sleeves, nothing fancy.

  • @daft990 I keep thinking I should give MTGO a go, although I think if I did, I would play pauper on that, as I don't think I could have both an online collection and keep collecting paper magic. I do play Duels Of The Planeswalker, but, mainly on the PS3.
