This is my full sized Farfisa Combo Compact. The vibrato isn't working on the Ab's and the Db's. Also there are strange notes on many of the Bb's that come and go.
Vibrato not working on particular notes is usually connected to bad electrolytic capacitors on those generator cards. Ideally, they should ALL be replaced on ALL cards to prevent this from happening down the road to other tones. The problematic B flats are probably the result of a faulty octave divider since the highest B flats appear to be working. If one of the B flat dividers isn't working properly, it can cause all the lower B flats to run at the wrong frequency.
It's lucky it's even still in one piece there in 2008. I got a Nord C1, which has Vox and Farfisa sounds. Not NEARLY as cool as yours, but at least upkeep won't be a prob 4 a few years to come.
If you have any questions or need more info about the generator cards feel free to message me, also take a look at my videos to get an idea of the kind of problems i had.
Just the fact that it magically fixed itself shows that there's nothing wrong with the wiring, just bad connections.
Each generator card has a wire connection on the very left (or right depending on which side you look at it from) side labeled with a V for vibrato, since each Ab and Db in every octave is off you might want to check that.
The problems with your compact are very similar to the problem i had with my compact. Usually the Bb problem is caused by dry/bad connections on the note generator car. those problems can be fixed by remelting the solder points on the generator card for that note, IE "cleaning up" the connections.
i love my Combo Compact..everything works except key bushings need to be replaced. can't find 'em online...anybody?
