Fat Tailed Duprasi are a member of the gerbil family. Very friendly if handled properly, they can live up to 5 years in captivity.

  • do they live longer or shorter in the wild?

  • @doll367 Difficult to say since their import has been banned for many years. The ones I was able to have lived about 4 years in captivity. I heard people mention upwards of 6 years in some instances.

  • hey do u find that your duprasi bites alot? i have got duprasi and it cost me £29 i hope to breed in near future

  • All that I ever had really never bit at all. They do seem to fight that urge better than other rodents. You're lucky to be able to get these. They stopped their import to the US years ago and are impossible to find here, now.
