Well, it clearly states how the earth was created in a sense. What is a day to God, and in so forth, what is 7 days to the Lord? I believe that our interpretation of the Bible and that of those that wrote the Bible is too feeble to say that it is a day that we understand as our day. To answer your question, yes, I do believe that the "Big Bang" could have happened. But, I'm not prideful enough to exclusively rely on that. Who's to say it didn't happen the way it says in the Bible exactly?

I'm trying to understand what you mean..Am I right in saying that you think evolution, or the Big Bang could have happened? If you believe in Christ, then you must also believe the Bible, in which it clearly states how the earth was created.

That's right...that's a form of 'working' towards salvation...However, repentance and faith go hand in hand- you can't have one without the other. In salvation, you must believe on Jesus AND repent from your sins.

Not defending anyone, but your claim that Got wants Christians to be "put down" and that His love is somewhat conditional upon the amount of suffering you endure is complete fallacy.
Neither of those things are found within the Bible, both of those things are advocated by cults. That is not representative of the Christian God.
