the reason why i like the us version so much is because americans like to see trainwrecks. we like seeing people being insulted to the ppint that they cry. this is done on purpose by the producers and the producers know that the uk version just wouldnt fly here in the states

@jmar28a Too much drama in the US version. Every episode has people crying and wimps that can't take the criticism. Plus all the silly music the US one has...annoying as hell.

@jmar28a No offence, I can't stand US version. It's like a crossbreed of Latino soap opera and low budget action film. Tears and aggression are main themes. Bloody awful. The drama is pumped like Sheila Hershey's tits and just as comical. Most of people starring in KN (US) should wear straitjackets and I'd dearly like to meet the idiot who came with an idea of brief intros after breaks. All viewers are treated as if they collectively suffered from Alzheimer's disease.

@Andiotic check the very begining. isreal invested 150,000 pounds for D-Place but he got a loan of 250, 000 pounds from the brewery. with D-Place as collateral. so basiclly who owns this place? you got it, The Brewery. They, at the end just decided to take over and kick him out.
