I wonder why the priests are full of nice expensive clothes, and gold rings, and gold in their clothes, gold and diamond Crosses....gold Sticks?? why is the Vatican so rich? instead of making the Pope wear a 70 carats diamond ring, sell it and feed the poor, such hypocrisy!

Are you sure about that. The Arlington Diocese under Bishop Keating and Father Goulde couldn't house all those who thought they were being called to the Priesthood. The Diocese was a Novus Ordo Diocese, but a Novus ORdo done correctly, in line with tradition, with solemnity and reverence, etc...

@jer241 That is only a Rumor. Infact the Novus Ordo, as Paul VI approved it is still in Latin (some a little bit of venacular), incense, Gregorian Chant etc. It really is a matter of Eucharistic reverance.

ya, thats true.. in traditional seminary those catholic priest were train in Latin has a high number of seminarians compare to modern seminary who offers novos ordo mass...its not to late... we will pray hard for the restoration of latin mass and other tradition of the catholic church.... have you attended protestant worship?their mass is the same in catholic for the reason that the new mass was invented by 6 protestant minister thru the initiative of msgr. bugnini, a mason..

If you look at semainarys that do the traditonal latin mass (tridentine) then you get a higher number. Seeming as how the tridentine latin mass is in greater need in the US then Priestly vocations will go up.

In Luke 10 we have the 72 pair sent off, but we read that the laborers are few yet the harvest is ripe, so we see that even at the time of Christ there was a shortage! Nothing new here, nothing to worry about, yet people love to make something out of nothing! We are told to ask God for more laborers! The lamb will oversome the goats and Gods WORD will remain alive no matter the clutter put forth from the non-beleivers who sew hatredness!
