Honey the Hibernating Hamster wakes up

We came home to find Honey the Hamster still, cold and lifeless in her tube. After a few prods it was decided she wasnt sleeping and had died for some reason despite being less than 6 months old and healthy.

Whilst preparing the "coffin", she made a small squeek and twitched, amazingly she shifted her position slightly but remained again lifeless and cold.

We felt there must be some life so put cotton wool and some sawdust in a tub and moved her into it and put it in a warm place.

Whilst this was going on, totally confused, we got a hold of a 24 hour vet whom suggested as a possible cause a sort of hibernation.

We realised that whilst decorating, we had put her into the spare bedroom which was not always very warm, the room was around 15C.

Over a few hours, she came back life and now we would never have imagined that we almost buried the hamster alive!

For starters, stfu and pay attention. This is a video, not a wrestling match. You should be very proud to see a hamster awaken from hibernation :) I'm pretty scared that my hamster will hibernate, but as soon as I found out about this I gave him as much carefresh bedding as possible! Keep them warm, very warm at winter.
