This is 80s guitar shred/hair rock, yes. But it is inspired music, and the vocals and guitars soar - the music is bristling with electricity. Wow - reminds me of my early teens in the 80s. Thumbs up!

@theepolishprince yes..paul and gene decided to put the make up back on...cause they couldnt sell albums or seats at any of their shows.same reason why they took it off in 1983.and i am right about bruce and eric...bruce was very pissed off at gene and paul for doing what they did.ever hear of carnival of souls???they tanked that for the reunion...and bruce was pissed.and why didnt we hear about gene and paul before kiss??? if you were a real kiss fan you would know this..dumb ass

Paul and Gene decided to put the make-up back on simply because #1-that's the real band they wanted to be, become and stay true to. You're incorrect when YOU say, "dump bruce and eric..." Eric Singer IS the drummer now with make-up so please explain that one! Also, Gene and Paul DO care about the fans because the fans wanted the real KISS. Why didn't we hear about the other guys before they joined KISS? Who's writing the songs if Gene and Paul aren't? If you don't like KISS, plenty of others do!

KISS made it without Vinnie, didn't they? If every band member AFTER Vinnie didn't like what Gene/Paul had to offer them or what they were doing, they could've left the band. It's obvious that not too many people would've ever heard of Vinnie, Mark, Bruce or Tommy if it weren't for KISS. It doesn't matter what you say about KISS's "shit albums and their make up". The fans dictate KISS's decisions because they have the money that all rock stars want. Vinnie blew it and he knows it so get over it!
