Oh my lord....NO!!!!! I am glad when people try and cook other cultures cuisine however, this is not a paella... there isnt a person in spain who would prepare a paella this way. spanish cooking is an art. the average 9 year old boy from spain could cook a paella better than this. you can not buy rice like that, or dried peas, or small prawns. you need , large beautiful shrimp, calamari, tomato, spanish onion, chicken thigh is fine. pretty much everything this lady neglected to research.

May be you could investigate for the real name of this recipe. What is sure is that THIS IS NOT A PAELLA

Look for "Belseher paella" in youtube or go to " lapaella. net " for the original recipes of Valencian Paella.

They are very simple to cook.

We never use onion because it makes the rice too much soft. NO GARLIC AT all

We also never mix chicken and seafood. There is a paella with chicken and another with seafood. In fact there is a great number of rice recipes

my wife is Valencian and i cringe when i see these Videos. I would like to apologise to all Spanish people for all the Paella videos put on YouTube by English people. Seriously, I don't mind that they try to do it there own version, but just say IT'S MY OWN VERSION.

I mean even the 1st ingredient is WRONG! There is no onion, so why put it. arrhh!
