  • trent did not take any compensation for it, he just accepted the offer and said he wants to have fun but no money...

  • And I've seen history repeat itself enough times to know A war is coming You don't have to trust me, or even like me But you can't deny I hold a unique perspective shaped by having lived in two worlds I've seen first hand the difference a wrong choice can make Shame on us, For all we have done And all we ever were Just zeroes and ones

  • In the season 1 episode on Fringe where a woman is preying on the marrow of her human victims to survive, |\| | |/|'s 'Discipline' can be heard in the dance club scene. This promo is awesome, me thinks.

  • damnit! I should start watching the show ;) Zero Summ is one of my favorite NIN songs, I'm glad that I'm not the only one ;)

  • Bona sèrie, millor banda sonora jeje

  • @FringeForYou Well its cause with the Fringe Promo, they just used Reznor's spoken diaologe, along with the chrous of Zero Sum.They never fully used the whole song due to being 6 minutes long

  • 'Entertainment Weekly reports that Reznor has revamped the Year Zero track "Zero-Sum" specifically for J.J. Abrams' eminently goofy paranormal TV drama "Fringe".'

Vox are from lines of dialogue that Leonard Nimoy's character has spoken on the show. According to EW, 'if you look at the track's sound waves digitally, you'll see one of the show's "glyphs."

Apparently, Fringe executive producer Jeff Pinkner told EW that Reznor actually turned down any payment for his services.'

  • I've never watched this show... I think I should start!

  • @SinnesterSorrow The different lines are Trent saying dialogue from the show.

  • Seems natural. NIN's "Year Zero" album (of which this song is from) was kind of intended to be the basis of a new sci fi show in the vein of Lost (which Trent is also a big fan of). Doesnt seem like that show will happen now unfortunately.
