@BestAvailableTheory But those who consented to such a deal (which is a scam) are allowing others to get rich on their back. And since the entire economy is based on growth (a loan lending economy) a lot of people are rich b/c loan lending makes houses, cars, college, etc. very expensive and hard to live without. You don't have to take out a loan, but since most people do, we're stuck with this system. You can't back a dump truck full of money to a human beings house and have them say, "no".
@BestAvailable Lots of people are rich for dumb reasons; rap stars, reactionary book sellers, any random person from a University bus/econ dept.... But, as far as I'm concerned, they're welcome to accumulate to their wittle hearts content; just not on my back. A loan lending economy means a lot of people got rich on my back, directly or indirectly. What did a loan lender do for me, except make a pile of money available? Yet I'm going to spend a life time forking money over to that system?
He should be glad the ows people are feckless. Otherwise, people who got rich w/o actually producing anything worthwhile, people who are rich for dumb reasons (selling pop. culture products to the lcd, loan lending, the rich enterprise that exists thanks to loan lending, like the text book racket, etc. etc.), would be in trouble.
@Daydream2142 Do you have your head in the sand or something? Academia has steadily been moving to the left for the past fifty years. Nixon called it Kremlin on the Charles for a reason. Unless you mean classical liberal.
It is very hard to believe that this puppet, who doesn't understand the Occupy Wall Street movement, is a Harvard professor. Actually not, when I also saw another puppet from Ecuador, Jamil Mahuad, who destroyed the country, also becoming a Harvard professor.
I don't support OWS, but I wisb Niall Ferguson would suckstart a fucking pistol.

@BestAvailableTheory I wasn't attempting to justify poor people stealing money. And I didn't use the word, "deserve".

@BestAvailableTheory I don't know how you got that from my post.
