This is lovely! if anyone is interested in hearing it sung in Breton The Chietains recorded an album called "Celtic Wedding",which is all music from Brittany,and a woman of Brittany sings this song.Beautiful and haunting...it's also on a holiday record The Chieftains recorded.

@dagnab - if you are 'gaulish' then you are celtic, not Frankish/French. Gaelic came from the extinct language of Gaul/Gauls, the original celtic inhabitants of what is now France (named after the Franks). You are correct saying the Bretons moved into Brittany from England. Normandy/Normans were actually viking, not French either. Your name is celtic Gaulish and I'm sure you are very proud of it. The celtic culture in Breton/Brittany is a proud part of France today and this is a great video!

@dweyn34 Actualy the gauls are of France as my name is from gaul,The bretons are a celtic tribe that was between the welsh and scotts and they are why the name of the uk is britton, from (bretons) St.patrick was a breton not an angle/saxon

@1262561 A Breton is a person from Brittany in France & there is a Celtic language spoken by some in Brittany which is called Breton.
