  • This is lovely! if anyone is interested in hearing it sung in Breton The Chietains recorded an album called "Celtic Wedding",which is all music from Brittany, and a woman of Brittany sings this song.Beautiful and haunting...it's also on a holiday record The Chieftains recorded.

  • Beautiful melody!

  • @dagnab - if you are 'gaulish' then you are celtic, not Frankish/French. Gaelic came from the extinct language of Gaul/Gauls, the original celtic inhabitants of what is now France (named after the Franks). You are correct saying the Bretons moved into Brittany from England. Normandy/Normans were actually viking, not French either. Your name is celtic Gaulish and I'm sure you are very proud of it. The celtic culture in Breton/Brittany is a proud part of France today and this is a great video!

  • @dweyn34 brittany is another group of celtic people the ,bretons where from the isle's not france my name is from gaul, im gaulish not breton, they are 2 different groups of celtic people ST.patrick was a breton, from britainia not france

  • @dweyn34 Actualy the gauls are of France as my name is from gaul,The bretons are a celtic tribe that was between the welsh and scotts and they are why the name of the uk is britton, from (bretons) St.patrick was a breton not an angle/saxon

  • best composer and singer

  • So Inspiring. Thanks so much for posting.

  • @1262561 The people of Bretagne, France. Inspired by their well-known resistance to magic, Bethesda used their name for the Bretons in their Elder Scrolls games.
