  • Trying different sweeteners is good - that's what makes us all unique cooks. I've made granolas with honey and even agave syrup.

  • Can't wait to try this granola recipe, can i add pure maple sugar instead of maple syrup?

  • @robsrelics1 Sorry I'm so late in replying. Try melting the sugar in 1/3 cup warm water and substitute that for the maple syrup. ~Rita from AboutEating com

  • Is this a granola cereal recipe? Can I put this in a bowl and add milk or soy milk?

    Thank you.

  • @Georgie1954 Yes, you can use it as a cereal. And some people like to put coconut in the oat mixture before or after baking. A handful or two is good. If you put the coconut in before baking, it gets nice and toasty; if after baking, it stays more moist.

  • Wow I just discovered your videos Rita and I love all the tips you add to them! There's always some surprises everytime I try a recipe. You do try to cover it all! Sticky fruit chopping, why we put fruits after. Finally someone who cares about the people who try these recipes. Thank you so much!

  • no salt?

  • Love your video's. Just an FYI, check out the dangers of Canola Oil. Not something you want to have in your food. House hold pest control yes, but definitely not for cooking.

  • I could live off granola

  • I'm making another batch tonight to take to a sick friend. Good snack for him.

  • instead of me buying granola already made which are expensive I can make my own and it will last me for a long while. great job!!! on this video

  • I made this tonight and it turned out great! Thanks for sharing! This was totally awsome. I buy my oats in 50lb bags so now I can make batches of this stuff and put it in my freezer to have on hand.

  • Oh my gosh if I don't land a man after this nothing will

  • This looks delicious!
