  • I love the grungey Gen-X feel of YTV back then. I loved The Zone and Phil.

  • They really need to make a YTV Retro and put all these old ID's on there.

  • @loogle Yes, that sounds right.

  • @pausebeforeviewtube Oh yes, I remember now there was a Dark Night 6 and it's the one that aired in October 1998 and I think it was just called "Dark Night" without the number 6 in the official title. I had my years mixed up so obviously Dark Night 5 was in October 1997. I'm 100% positive though that October 1999 was the first year they did Halloweird and it was a programming block that replaced Dark Night. Halloweird wasn't nearly as cool though.

  • @loogle There was a DN6, my cousin has it on tape. If Halloweird was around at that time, it was an encompassing thing (for the channel or the Zone around Halloween), not a specific line-up of shows or halloween special.

  • @pausebeforeviewtube I don't think they ever even had a Dark Night 6. If I remember correctly, 1998 was when they did Dark Night 5 and then in October 1999, they renamed it "Halloweird."

  • man shit was so much cooler back then. old school

  • I remember wondering "I wonder what Dark Night 7 will be like---probably the best yet!" It never happened. :( I think they should bring it back with all the old shows---I mean, it's only every Halloween, and those shows are timeless.

  • @JoeySymphony Me too!! I've been looking for that for ages!

  • I remember that saying: "Headaches are an excellent source of iron!" and It always made me wonder how that was possible.
