it is an interesting setting, I've played in the location before & think Chicago makes a great place to live.

@Samwise7RPG 'No, it's much too perilous !' :D

@Samwise7RPG I was going to run the protest adventure for the 1-shot, as it seemed the most interesting one in the book, and it also seemed like something I could finish in 4 hours.

@23penguins32 I've always had a thing for goth chicks. :)

@Samwise7RPG The Blood Dolls and the danger to The Masquerade was an interesting thing in the book. The players probably wouldn't guess that they are just teenie-boppers/tweens drinking each other's blood. hehe. It would be good if you ran this to have some Ministry, Sisters of Mercy, Bauhaus, etc. playing in the background. I liked the write ups in Chicago By Night of the various NPCs in the setting.

@23penguins32 Thank you for the input. I don't know if I'll run a game(of any kind) anytime soon, but I will look up that club.

@ExplosiveOrange No worries. You just uploaded it. Give it some time. I honestly would go for the music, the not-average subculture and the fact we could in and often drink for free (working in the business-always a plus). If you're going to run this, look up Excalibur. It has an interesting history & is one of the 'most haunted locations' in Chicago. It is creepy. There are many others as well that have histories, especially dating to the Capone era.

@23penguins32 Sounds like one hell of party. I guess there was some truth to the blood dolls, then? I'm glad I could atleast give one person a feel for this setting.
I really enjoyed reading Chicago By Night / The Succubus Club and planning to use it for a 1-shot at a convention. I didn't actually end up using it, because the players that signed up for it had to bail for a medical emergency. I liked how the club had various levels and each one had its own flair and feel.
