The Falling Woman Story by L1Aura Loire MMIF2010

I think of this piece as an anchor piece, an introduction to some of the issues I see as pertinent to an exploration of virtual subjectivity, and also of an introduction to L1. You're dropped in the middle of an intimate conversation with her, and suddenly she is telling you this incredible story, showing you how she imagines it, how she has played it out in Second Life, experiencing it for herself, shaping it into a performance, remaking it into machinima.
This version removes some digital artifacts and has cleaner audio, but is the same edit as the original. L1's dresses by Lady Thera and Eshi Otawara. Thanks, as always, for support and good cheer to Maya Paris, Shirah and Alexith Destiny, Cube Republic, the Museman, & Kimbo Scribe.

Recovering from an SL break-up myself---he just UN-friended me. No note, no IM, no fight, no NUTHIN! Fortunately, I am a fast healer---but I'm STILL burning all his letters and photos. What a heel.
