A short interview with Thom Yorke in Australia taken from Meeting People Is Easy. What is interesting about this clip is that according to the end credits, all the music is by Radiohead (with the exception of the Scott Walker song), including all instrumentals and electronic pieces. The sequenced notes during this interview sounds quote similar to that of the intro to Sit Down Stand Up, which wasn't released until 2003, while this was taken in 1997.

  • Cool I've found out in the net the whole audio interview of the one at 0:06 it's pretty cool and joyful Thom picks 5 songs that changed his life

  • Willing to share it with us?

  • Does Anyone Know where I Can Find That Track Playing In The Back Ground? Does The Track Even Have A Title?

  • Radiohead included a handful of unreleased snippets of music in the film, so as of yet I wouldn't say you would be able to find it anywhere.

As for the title, as I stated in the Video Info, the track bears similarities to Sit Down Stand Up, so I'd say it could possibly be an early demo.

  • I don't think I could handle being famous.

  • Thom Yorke should write an autobiography on what Radiohead went through from their early days until today. They've done so many different and important things, and I think it would be relevant what they have to say about making music, holding together as a band and as friends. I dont know why, but I believe that Radiohead have experienced some harsh things that would make an important impact as an autobiography.

  • "you read a 100 good reviews and one bad one...and the one bad one always seems to make more sense to you"

  • Classic.

  • Being the centre of attention in these proportions has serious effects on a person. Look what happened to Amy Winehouse, MJ or Cobain. I mean, they died due to the choices they've made during a lifetime, but being exposed by the media 24/7 sends you to the grave way ahead your time. Fucking Corporations.

  • scary - it makes me think of kurt cobain I'm so grateful and happy that Thom came out the other side

  • Cool, I think the music in the background symbolizes their change to Kid A.

  • @CoreyCroft

Corey, sorry but lefty is right. The song is the original idea for Sit Down Stand Up programmed QY70 synthesizer whilst on tour in 1998. And ironically enough Thom can be seen messing with the QY 00:16.

(PS, check out the citizen insane website)
