In Part I of my special "Shut up, Lakers fans" series is the seconds following the blown call on Lamar Odom's jumpball violation where you can see Trevor Ariza (the recipient of said ball) step on Odom's foot (yep, that same troublesome left foot), which causes him to fall and lose the ball. People were complaining that Melo pushed him in the back and that caused the fall, but clearly that isn't the case, as you can see Odom pulling his foot back while underneath Ariza's left foot as Ariza's leg slides out from under him. Case closed.
Lets GO LAKERS!!!!!!!!!!!

Melo pushing in back. With the game being as tightly called as it was, it should have been called. At the very least the violation on Smith should have been immediately called. The violation not being called makes you wonder what the refs watch. Poor officiating in the NBA is always going to be there, but a call that was so easy to make on a play like a jump ball is ridiculous.
By no means does this take away from Denver's win, the calls usually even out. Next game it may happen to the Nuggets
