Videos like this make me want to get a hi lift and mod it. I fancy the TLT wheels and tyres on it with some fender flares for looks only. It would need to be black.
Not as practical as your set up, but i think it would look awesome with the Yota shell.
I'm curious to why you fitted a higher torque motor. I thought with the 3 speed, the stock silver can would produce enough torque to crawl easily. Have you stripped any gears yet?

It isnt my Yota so I wouldnt know, the torquier motor is required if using it on steeper terrain, general use the silver can is fine.

did u use a bearing upgrade or just stock bushings on the yellow cruiser?
bbblake7 3 years ago
The guy who owns it did the full bearing upgrade on it, highly recommended. Did the same on mine (check out other vid called hilux cam)

ive got a highlift but im not sure on how to mound the proline body used on the yellow cruiser?????

As far as I know he just bought some body posts from a model shop and muonted them vertically at front and the rear ones stick horizontally out of back, you can see them on video.
