Hard Time Killing Floor Blues

I heard someone play this Skip James song at a gig last night and its been going round and around in my head so I decided to do my take on it for what it's worth. I'm playing a Goldtone SM (solid mohogony) Weissenborn replica with guage 14" strings tuned to open B-flat i.e. the same as open D except tuned down a further four semitones. I'm playing in a dingy basement full of moss and frogs but the stone floor gives great acoustics.

Wow! Open B flat . . . I'm surprised the strings didn't fall off the guitar. The strings are already pretty flabby in open D. 4 semi tones down must be hard to keep in tune? Sounds great dude! Soulful.

@Stevoblues Hey Stevo, thanks for listening. Yeah I hear what your saying about the strings but even if you go up a couple of gauges its surprising the difference it makes. I'm using gauge 14'' here and have no problems with tuning this low, I'd say anything lighter tho could be tricky tuned down this low.
