It seems to me that each of the girls represents a different way in which someone can be destroyed or killed while growing up. Ginger is killed by HER peter pan complex, not wanting to grow up atall. Rose is killed because her innocence and love of nature is disappearing as she is 11 and has to stop seeing the world through new eyes.

You know how in movies they say dont go into the light because when you go into the light you die and move on... Well in this game you go into the light and your woof comes out

@XxMissNoNamexX Nah, it's true. Little Red Riding Hood's basest lesson is "Do as you're told by your parents." Parents know the dangers of the world better either because of experience or the same cautions as their parents. They just want to keep their children safe, it's a parental instinct we're all familiar with. But they also have to learn that they can't protect their children forever, or keep them away from all dangers.

I think I understand the game now. A quote from the site says "A game about growing up" The wolfs are the temptations of childhood. The path is growing up. Staying on the path is safe, but when you stray, you get to really live life, even if it's cut short.
I could be VERY wrong...

After having played through the game, I would have to agree with you.
It's cool that the developers have never explicitly stated what the game was about though, so they can leave it up to our interpretation.
