  • I think you have the polarity wrong on the sending unit or on the fuel gauge. Peace out bros!!

  • when we hooked up the other tank with a good and accurate sending unit, it did the same thing, that's why I attributed it to the bad wiring job they have going on. But when it's a custom, and they can't pay, I don't do the work. For the type of effort that it takes to do it right, like in project SAM, few can afford that rate.

  • i have the same truck a long bed tho 79 chevy c10 and i have the same prob with the gauges i wish u wudda showed how u can fix tht

  • The biggest problem is the wiring. These trucks use like a mother board to plug into, and if it is faulty the guages don't work right.

  • thanks id like to see more projects on this an sam they help alot

  • You can doa video search on project SAM, and you may want to take a look at project Tank, it's just a 2 wheel drive version of project Lunchbox. Just type in the search bar, BBHR Project Tank bethel brothers hot rod, and the list of video's should come up, the tips are in the tag words, ie: welding, fabrication, transmission, electrical, etc.
