I was about to bail off my bicycle when I heard the same loudspeaker you hear at about 9:50 and thought the exact same thing. I called that hill some very bad names...... Well done!

well done ! am hoping to do it next year.........have to say i live near ditchling and have never cycled it ......yet ! its a horriblehill even in a car !

Well done for getting to the top without walking Paul. I made it as well and it was my first L2B so not knowing what to expect possibly helped. Might not be so next year now I know what's in store....

Well done, Im training now to do it in 2012, I loved the little mutters under your breath, it gave me a good idea of how bad it is, I thnk I will drive the course first to see what Im gonna be up against.

Hi - Thanks for your comment - its only hard if you don't train, and its well worth doing it, do not be put off by Ditchlin Beacon, everyone manages to get up somehow ....:-)
