Statement: "Our aircraft exists . . ." That's nice, but the Boeing KC-X (KC-767 to be proposed) exists AND is already flying with the Japanese and Italian military. The EADS? Yup, just testing with no deliveries yet...so it's already behind Boeing before the speech is even over).

Statement: "Essentially the same aircraft . . ." Not even close. EADS proposes an aircraft that is larger, less maneuverable, and has a smaller flight control envelope (flight computers will not allow evasive maneuvers) than their Boeing counterparts.
