The Hāna Highway (also known as the Hana Road or Road To Hana) is 68-mile roadway and the main highway connecting the population center of Kahului with the town of Hāna in east Maui. Although Hāna is about 52 miles from Kahului, a typical trip to Hāna takes about three hours, as the road is very winding and passes over many one-lane bridges.

first off parkkula couldnt afford a house...cant even afford spell check.second your choice of music for this video is a disrespect to the hawaiian culture......not losers like parkkula....but true hawaiians....and your video does no justice to what the road to Hana really has. you didn t even survive it...you took a tour like a disneyland ride......way to waste your money when you could have supported real locals and bought a pineapple

i went on the road to Hana, and it was AMAZING! I would definately say that's a must in maui. One tip though, we made the mistake of taking the "back country" way home cause we thought it'd be faster... ya HUGE MISTAKE. It is absolute nothingness and no civilization for 3 hours and looks like the desert in Mexico. pretty much the exact opposite of the road to hana. lol that was the worst part of the trip lol don't take the back way!

If you are ever lucky enough to get to go to Maui, Hawaii you have to take the road to Hana. It's all twists, turns and narrow roads, but some of the most beautiful scenery I have ever see too. Thanks for bringing back the memories. Take in The Garden Of Eden along the way too.

I used to make that drive about once a week when I was living in Kula. I miss Maui so much now that Im not there anymore.

That drive was long took us 3 hours think get to the end my aunt turned back cause it was to long.

Great video. No need to pay any tour co. and waste your money - just rent a car for $30 and go there yourself. Can't wait to
see this road to enjoy all its splendor.
