@cain2335 I thought this was way better than the original, even though the original was excellent. This had much better character development, much more intense and climactic, and Oscar-worthy acting (especially from Rooney Mara).

@GothEvilButterfly91 : That, I think, was just another mind trick by David Fincher (like in Fight Club, you subliminally see Tyller Durten appear in mili-seconds during the film, indicating well... you know what).

Actually, while looking at the movie, my friends and I thought Lisabeth was Harriet for more than half of it; then we noticed that the real Harriet should be much older and finally were mindblown by the ending.

Anyways, what an amazing movie!

Totally looking forward to the 2 sequels.

@3117ss The opening song was a COVER of Led Zep. Not a "rip off". That's the only instance that Reznor's score even remotely resembled LZ's music. And, as stated in the book, she bought that bike because it's all she could afford, not because it suited her personality.

I watched the original sweedish version with subs, then i watched this one locally and imo this one was a lot better, personal preference either way i enjoyed both movies and i will watch the trilogy=)
