You have to know algerian history before france colony ,this kind of music is basically from Spain ANDALOSIA when Muslims of andalose lost Spain they came to Algeria with Jewish and stay here until now and they bring with them this culture its algerian arabic with andalosia melody

@kysenpikaya I understand a little Algerian Arabic....but not French...so I do get the arabic parts at the bgnng but I don't really know why the chorus means.. :)

@SonOfTheRefugee Hi there, You obviously don't speak French, because this song is mostly in Algerian Arabic, which is a bit like what Louisiana English is to London cockney. :-)
