ERIC WHITACRE VIRTUAL CHOIR: LUX Bass II

My attempt to join Eric Whitacre's virtual choir for Lux Aurumque. I recorded this about a week ago and finally remembered that the deadline was January first (it's 8:30 on December 31st as I type). Watching it now, I realize a few mistakes I've made and regret not having the time to rerecord it and make it better. Alas. I give what I have, and if it makes it in, then surprise surprise, eh? It was a glorious experience at the least; I haven't really sung much choral work since I graduated from high school in June, so this was very refreshing. Also, this sounds very odd, just the bass part by itself; those of you who've never heard "Lux Aurumque" in its full glory must think I'm a nut. Well, don't worry-- I am.

Thank you! I figured I might as well add a bit of color to the thing if I was to do it at all. After all, this is Christ's birth that we're singing about (at least people seem to interpret it that way, as do I)-- we can't all have long faces!

PS-- I'm very sorry that I originally labeled this as a Bass I part. I was pressed for time and missed it. It's actually (and obviously when one hears it) the Bass II part. I hope that didn't cause any trouble if you've already taken note of my submission.
