This is not selfishness. This is sport, this happens all the time in gymnastics and in figure skating. If Nastia is capable of even attempting a chance at another Olympics, then why not. Just because she went in 2008 doesn't mean she doesn't deserve a chance now. She's allowed to have this dream of London too. She has a chance at real legend status and I for one would like to see this happen. That comes with making comebacks and longevity. Also Nastia is much prettier to watch than Rebecca.

lol the olympics isnt about proving yourself. competitions like nationals and pacific rim are for that. the olympics are to represent ur country, make history. did you see svetlana khorkina give up her spot on the 2000 team because she won gold on ub in 96? no, she went and won another gold.
