The Masa Slingshot is a really old(70's)recumbent trike according to today's standards. The frame & components have been modified to compete with Tadpole trikes some thirty years later. The original 26inch wheels have been replaced with one27inch rear rim and two 20" front rim. The Old Slingshot had a rear disk brake that I replaced with a Nexus 7 speed internal hub with coaster brake. The front wheel hubs has been modified to accommodate Sturmey Archer front 70 mm Drum brakes. The Middle bottom bracket has been removed to increase clearance. The front derailer has a large triple chainring crank set. The Bike frame has been re- coated . I love this bike because it a oldy but definitely goody....Ride or Die Trying!
