if there is any contamination in the cooling tower you have bigger problems.

All radioactive material is contained in the primary containment.

Would you expect gasoline in the passenger seat of your car?

well no that actually can't go bang. Due to the fact that no one uses a positive void coefficient.

Basically what that means is when Chernobyl happened since it had a positive void coefficient the heat just kept building up

Everyone uses negative void coefficient reactors. What it does is if we lose control of the plant at any time the reactor will shut down.

Think about it like this if you are driving and take your foot of the gas the car will slow down.

So no Chernobyl can never happen

Windmills are too expensive, hydroelectric plants screw up the eco-system (Which last I heard was what they care about) and what do nuclear plants do? They produce nuclear waste.

Nuclear waste IMO is less than destroying an ecosystem. Why? Because, it can theoretically be disposed of in space. Space meaning the vast emptiness of nothing.

What a sad thing. To see the destruction of this plant and to listen to the reaction of the brainwashed, government educated dumb asses is very depressing. Trojan was a very good, efficient, cost effective, and environmentally friendly power plant. It was incredibility stupid to shut it down, But Oregon is incredibility stupid since they became Democrat controlled.
