@Md55Mark55Md There is a special tool that comes with the bike for getting at the spark plug. It lets you remove the plug with the small amount of clearance that exists between the plug and the front part of the frame. If you try to just use a standard spark-plug socket on it, you won't have enough room to access it. The "special Tool" is basically a very thin aluminum socket without a ratchet end on it, and instead of a ratchet end, there is a little aluminum stick that you use for leverage.

have you had any trouble changing the spark plug in this? ive the got same exact bike and ive tried countless ways to get into it, any ideas?

@Md55Mark55Md try taking the tank off it allows more room to get to the spark plug, i had no trouble once i did this :)

yeah bmws are awesome, iv recently (YESTERDAY) upgraded to a cr 250 1993 and i like it so much more..... bmws are an awesome bike although i never have ridden one
