Lol satanic... I always assumed this song was about a drunk guy that found himself about to be screwed by a male friend. ;) "I thought I knew you/I thought I knew myself"

Superb writer However at times dark...seems like inner struggle between good and evil to me. I love the Toadies and this album is one if their best and so unloved! Pop it in right before you head out and tell me it's not Good! Lips and cheek and Porto Rican...now tell me what I said? LMFAO

Oh and not to be a dick, but this song does make heavy use of the note in a scale that would have got you killed if you were a church organ player 500 years ago, but most of rock n' roll does :P

You have to believe in God to appreciate Satan ;)

Probably the most Rubberneck song I've heard out of them since Rubberneck.
I don't get the satanic vibe from this at all. In fact I think a lot of Toadies songs are about god; where is god, I'm far from god, backslider, ect... It's all open to interpretation and I'm glad it means something to you, cause it fucking means a lot to me.
