After work i see flight attendants getting off the bus at the Hilton Hotel in Sydney (Australia). Let me just say the Singapore Airlines uniforms and flight attendants are absolutely stunning :-)

@volcomdude56 hmmm it depends, they do receive the training to save your life in emergency, but most of them forget it with the time, pilots can barely control the plane (i have the license myself), without the FMG computer they'll be lost (vide air france crash in 2009) ! ! !

This is such bull shit. Go to the airport today and see what the airlines are really hiring tody as flight attendants. They are some of the most ugliest bitches you ever see. Some look like dikes and others are just look so old they fart dust.

One minute she may be providing simple in-cabin comforts such as blankets, pillows, and peanuts and sodas; next minute, their job may turn to knowledgeable assistance in case of emergency landing or to diffuse an in-flight cabin disorder among passengers, mechanical, etc. Resolutions are the exception and not the rule to the host of potential problems that could occur at 35k feet in the air.
