  • DID YOU KNOW?... I have no idea why Australians say "Seega" rather than "Seh-gah".

  • did u know im like the only one that knows how to pronounce sega in australia

like how the others pronounce it seega

    when i pronounce it sayga

  • @EmperorofCartoons LOL my bad but yeah i agree with you about production runs between the Atari 2600 & NES.

  • @SouthShadow Oh no I meant the Atari 2600 was produced for 15 years before it got canceled, while the old NES was produced for 20. I thought you were talking about production runs, not construction quality.

I agree with you 100% then, Ataris were def made better than Nintendo.

The newer top loader NES is pretty solid construction but that was the one they made near 2000, the old style NES where you put the cart in front and pressed down was a lot more prone to breaking than the 2600 imo.

  • @EmperorofCartoons That's odd because my Atari 2600 lasted longer than my NES, after it had been sitting in my wardrobe for over a decade & i've had the Atari since the late 70s. If it was my Nintendo, i wouldn't even bother trying to get the console going, cause I know it wouldn't work, due to the amount of mold that have been built up inside the system. This shows that the Atari 2600 are made to last for a long time, not just the console but also the games as well!!!

  • @SouthShadow Nintendo's NES lasted 20 years, Atari's 2600 lasted 15 years.

  • @NETGURU2525 This is an Australian ad, so SEEGA it is!

  • JIGSAW LINE DETECTED "LET THE GAMES BEGIN"

  • but there's no r at the end of sega !

  • this is why we say seegar instead of saygar in Australia
