Problem Solving - Panasonic Lumix Digital Camera DMC-FX7

I accidentally left my Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX7 Digital Camera in my car during a snowstorm. Condensation killed it after bringing it inside. After turning on camera, it would zoom all the way out then motor would make faint studder sound and the error message "Turn Camera off and on again" would appear on the screen.

This is my problem solving technique. Hopefully this might help you out if you have similar problem with your Panasonic Lumix Digital Camera.

@shastapie101 I am sorry to hear that your camera is busted. Like I said in my video if it was condensation problem (having it out in the rain, or bringing it from cold outside to warm inside) open every thing up, and let it sit open for about a week. If you are having issues with the screen and it acting possessed, with auto zooming out all the way, and then the error message - try changing shooting mode before the error appear, in hopes of it resetting itself in a way. - Best of luck.

Problem has reoccured, but a possible fix is clean the lens focus sensor above the main lens, i simply spat on mine and cleaned it with a old clean sock.....worked for me.

Thank you young lady, very useful advice, i had some problem, due to being caught in heavy rain and moisture seemed to affect the camera, must be a issue with this range, you saved me an expensive repair bill, thank you, happy new year.
