Hey Javakat watchers, Celeste here! I'm a good friend of Java, and so when I told her I had just made a tutorial on my wound process, she invited me to put it up on her channel. Enjoy!

So, as I've said in my video, quite a few of my friends have been asking for a wounds tutorial. I've never made a video tutorial before, but I tried my best to make sure that I covered all of the basics of my method to making prosthetic wounds. If at any point in my tutorial you feel that I didn't explain something clearly enough or you'd like to see a portion of my process in more detail, please let me know and I'll be happy to respond via comment or a whole new video tutorial if the questions requires that involved of an answer. If I get a lot of the same basic questions, maybe I'll make a little FAQ up here in the description...

  • Does the 'Rigid Collodion' hurt?? how long will that last and how do you get rid of it(after the event)..?

  • @04Kirstie04 depending on where you put it on your face it can feel tight. like its stretching the skin. may be uncomfortable but I've never found it so. The fumes can be annoying so keep it ventalated when drying. It tends to flake over time but can last all day and will peel right off.
