Great idea, badly implemented. Should leave 13s in juniors, or allow 13s during the regular season, but not allowed for tournament. Tournament play is going to be a joke, only teams with all 13s will move on to the WS. Most leagues will have their 13s play in 50/70 which will kill the juniors, I don't understand the thought process of have 13s play in 50/70 one year against 11 and 12s, and then turn around the next year and play high school ball with 15-16s. Terrible Idea!

No mention of USA Baseball and LL looking into the unregulated 2 5/8" metal bats.
This would be a great division for a wood bat league. It would give all those 200' fence fields a chance to participate. It would also be a lot safer. And, it would be cool, leading edge, and get traction very quickly.
No other organization puts 13 year olds on the 50/70 field. Gotta change the bats, fellas.
