After spending 13 years in the system as a foster child, from 6 to 19 years of age; I was looking back on my past at 20 years in 2005 and was led to write my story. It took me from July to October 2005 to write the 302pg. memoir of my life, feelings, pain, anger, joy, sadness, and confusion in the system. After finishing the book in October, I began trying to get it picked up by a major publisher. Over the next year and a half I tried until I was on the verge of giving up, when the opportunity to self-publish became available. I weighed the pros and cons and decided to get with the program. The book was available in July of 2007, but it has taken me until July of 2008 for the seeds planted at the end of my rainbow a few years ago to sprout and begin to harvest. I thank this wonderful man and his team and all those in my community who have supported my story and purchased my dream thusfar.I ask for the support of all of you who take an interest in this interview as well because I would like to go on Oprah, Tyra, or Ellen and talk about turning a negative into a positive while trying to find the light at the end of my tunnel. It is going to take millions of viewers and supporters to gain the attention of those listed but I've made it this far and am not about to give up on seeing my story revised by a major publisher eventually and sold in bookstores around the world, perhaps even a movie!! Thank you all who have helped me, prayed for me, walked by my side, and shared my dream. I'm sorry to those who started off by my side but was sidetracked; I still pray for you and love you and know that only you alone can get to the end of your own personal rainbow. Watch out for book two dropping at the end of next month, thank you all for loving and supporting me!! Be blessed. To order this book, "I've found the End of the Rainbow", google Doneareum S. Don,
Thank you for your transparency in sharing your life story, as hurtful and emotional as it may have been, because there are so many children and families suffering through life's trials believing that they have only one option...failure, because the system and life has failed them. Yet, you have given them HOPE in knowing that they too can rise above the system and the challenges of life. May God forever bless and keep you and your brothers. I look forward to your next book!!!

Thank you and anyone who is moved by this story for being kind enough and inspired to understand what I am trying to do in life and how I am trying to step up and present something positve to my peers and generation. If I can make it through that, so can you!! Share it with all of your friends and lets get this story out of the box it has been in because so many need to see and feel something that is real and that can make you feel like more than a statistic or misjudged steareotype!
