I was going through some of my Manga when I came across the first volume. Got it when it came out, and was so excited about it. So much potential but then I heard it was on hiatus T_T.

Do you know if the company printing it stopped it because of low popularity or if the mangaka stopped?

The original book publisher, I believe, was Blade Comics (serialized by Mag Garden in Monthly Comic Blade, who brought you Elemental Gelade).

Apparently, there was suppose to be some sort of crossover (think Tsubasa RC/xxxholic) between R2 and World End Fairytale... unfortunately stuff happened.

For all those of you who are wondering what is going on with this series... it seems ADV dropped it without saying much about it. (jerks ;p)

Vol. 1-2 are available in Japanese, German, and Chinese. Vol. 3 has been postponed/on hiatus indefinitely, I'm not sure about why.

Her other series World End Fairytale has been on hiatus as well. (Since 2003?)

As for if vol. 2 will ever come out in English... no one has picked it up so it's probably a long shot.

it is really weird why the manga was discontinued... it had a nice feeling in it and the storyline is great too ): there is other manga that was much more worse but why did only this one being discontinued...

After issued vol.2, she tried to continue on new magazine(name is "comic brownie"). but this magazine was stopped to publish because of low demand.. i think. So now, there is no place to continue manga for her ><

I just heard that she was forced to stop or something. Actually more along the lines of the publishing company didn't want to spend anymore money on her manga.

The story was good and it actually made me curious. The art were pretty too.

This is an awesome promo video! It made me think for a second that there is actually an anime for this manga, then I read the description and I understood.
