Its been awhile since I have jumped on here, Katey is now 3 and Brew is two they are inseparable and trust me these dogs if raised with young infants are tolerant, docile and protective you could not ask for a better dog...and I have had several different giant breeds these are the best with kids
Not dangerous at all. This is the very essence of the breed. I researched this breed for over 10 years before I finally got one. They are the very best dog for almost any family, tolerant, docile, low energy, snuggly, low maitainence, and patient
Oh come on you need to stop watching the few cases on the news so much that is a mastiff and a girl. You know whats dangerous? Driving your car to work. Thousands are killed every year because of it.
While adorable and you clearly have a sweet dog, it may be time to teach your toddler to respect the dog - i.e. poking & tail pulling.
FYI: We pull on our mastiff's tail to desensitize her to children (we have none, but they visit us via friends) and she does the *same* thing - chases her own tale! Silly dog.
that is so dangerous, I would never have so much trust in a huge animal to let my little girl poke it in the face and grab it, one bite and this girl is gone, you need to be more responsible
