To the twats slandering republicans. They hate the British Army. Wouldnt you if they shot your family, friends, neighbours who all happened to be innocent for no reason? And as for you lot saying how atupid they are for disrespecting the poppy, they dont care if 'some' if any catholics died fighting for the british army, because in their eyes anyone who associates them selves with the brits are traitors. The brits have invaded over 90 countries you know. Half the world hates the british.

The song they sang was the ballad of Aiden McAnespie. A catholic man, that being his only crime, who was shot dead walking to a gaelic match. The Brits covered it up and said the gun was wet and the bullet ricocheted up and hit him. Many people their felt the force of British actions in Ireland who were in attendance. You couldn't expect them to stand silent for the murderers of their friends and loved one. They were just as offended at the silence as people were at the singing.

They saw it that way, same as the suffragists. They took a different approach from trying unsuccesful rebellions against britain, and saw that if they fought for britain, they would pass the home rule bill.
