'Bukhari ' is an Israeli invention and refers to only the Jewish dialect of Northern Persian, but in all our books printed before 1926 hebrew script was used and the language was called parsi and even the Bukharian jews refered to themselves as 'parsiyan' (=tajik). In a jewish book a read the language of Mountain Jews is referred to as 'parsi-ye daghestan wa Ghuba'

@milkyroadtube these freaking russians messed everywhere. Commmunist russians called persian spoken in Tajikistan ->Tajik, persian spoken in Bukhara -> Bukhari, Persian spoken in caucasus -> Tat or Juhuri, Farsi spoken in southern Azerbaijan -> Talish, Farsi spoken in afghanistan -> Dari and so on.

The sad thing is that even those people speaking these variation of Persian are so brainwashed that really think they speak somehow a new language. They are also strangely hostile towards Persian!
