Arguing or asking Thunderfoot intelligent questions might help and be used but never forget that it's the gospel message that has power to save him and not questions that will get Jim a win on a debate. That's probably what Jim should have told him, the gospel.

You just wasted 5 minutes of your life (and mine) arguing with yourself about a position you don't understand. If you didn't think that you were going to live forever you might appreciate the value of those 5 minutes. It's a shame I will never get them back.
