iNotify iPhone Incident Locator

The pupose of iNotify application is to allow citizens report roadway related incidents - by street, highway mile post or GPS location. It is an iPhone application template to collect data from citizens on various issues related to roadway incidents. The application also allows the citizens attaching photographs while submitting an incident.

The iNotify application is designed to showcase some of the core capabilities of the ArcGIS Platform 10.0 through an iPhone interface. This app allows users to report incidents using point locations. These incidents are stored in the Geodatabase using backend FeatureService. Users while reporting incident can also subscribe to updates via e-mail or twitter.

This application can be used as a template to create similar applications with nearly no modifications to its source code. Just by changing the url to the FeatureService in the configuration xml file, it can be converted to any other VGI application. Developers can add additional functionality on top of its codebase. Best practices are used to democase the power of ArcGIS iPhone SDK.
