  • REAL Art. Haunting. Beautiful. Art.

  • How liberating this must have felt!!! Good for you!!! Sorry to see all of the hard work go but so much beauty came from it.

  • Well done you - best possible outcome.

  • This made me cry, I think, because I have my own "sinkhhole" inside me. Your very inspiring for such a young age. Thank you for sharing! :)

  • I think that maybe this is what was meant to happen to this quilt from the beginning. I have followed the sinkhole saga for quite a while. Maybe this act was more purging of the negative feelings that prompted this quilt than anythign else could have done.

  • Reallyt, really powerful imagery and symbolism. Good for you to be able to purge the negative from your life at such a young age. For years I had a recurring dream of down, down, down. Something was pressing me down from the top of my head. As I grew in confidence and maturity, the dream disappeared. Thank you for your wisdom in finding beauty.

  • Thanks, I know you will be changed by your sad words from the past. First letting them go and then living your life remembering how words can hurt and stay with us. In the future your words will bring joy to your family and to us quilters.

  • You’re an amazing women! And you inspire me. Thank you.

  • thank you for the exquisite sharing -- we are all plagued with those "words" from our past -- may all cruel words burn away, and may all beings live in peace, freedom, dignity, contentment, and happiness.

  • Beautiful, Inspiring, Fragile, Spiritual,Teacher, Strong, Intelligent, Emotional, Healer, Mother, Wife, Friend. Those are the spiral of words that come to mind when I think of you. I hope you are able to let the ugly words be carried away by the wind. What a very powerful and personal moment. Thank you so much for letting me be a part of it.
