Retirement can either be a time to explore new things that weren't possible with a five-day workweek nipping at the heels, or it can be a crushing time to reflect on one's mortality. For some, employment in a certain field defines who they are. And when it's time to hang up that profession, some people go a little crazy and don't know what to do with themselves. Others don't let the sudden free time trip them up, and just keep going on living life to its fullest. It's never too late to learn how to enjoy life!

  • Retirement is relative to lifespan. The greater that gets, the more we put it off, simply cos we can't afford it. However, I read somewhere the year after retirement is a statisitical hotspot for natural death, something about needing a reason to live. So I don't plan to retire unless it's for one's health.

  • Retirement is being financially able to have the choice to retire. I plan to do this in my 30's or 40's through real estate investments although just like you Chris, I don't plan to "stop working" either.

  • i know you are getting old just remember the 80s wait no that was a bad time well you are screwed , also if you put a web cam in you coffin that will attracted both goths and geeks

  • I would watch that xD

  • lol, picture Chris at 70 still doing this. All geeking out. It's ok, you can be old and still geek out.

  • the problem is that old geeks can't keep up with new technologies
