Reuploaded so Canadian users from the Lionhead/Fable III forums can watch it.

This is part one of a "walkthrough"/interview with a Fable III developer, highlighting a particular quest and the 3D "GUI" (a.k.a. the start "menu = "The Sanctuary").

Won't go into any more details.

  • @anarkey42 Haha. Tell me about it! However, I was able to actually hold the Collectors' Edition (not an empty box/case/book either!) on the weekend, in my GAME store... And I only joked about running out the store with it!

I preordered the game from game.co.uk, which hopefully will be arriving tomorrow, but I'm not able to get the controller until Friday as I'm getting that in-store...

  • This is Xbox360 exclusive right ?

  • @AlfaFRONDZ Xbox 360 release this week, but there is a PC release for the future, I think that Lionhead are hoping to have it out a week or two before Christmas.

So, Xbox 360 exclusive for around two months, it seems, then it'll be a Microsoft (Xbox 360 and PC) exclusive.

  • sam and his brother's name could be a reference to Lucasarts' adventure game, Sam and Max. Their physical attributes are based on two brothers who work for Lionhead Studios. "Sam Spade" is also a stereotypical name for the pulp-fiction private investigator, dating back to its use in Dashiell Hammett's novel The Maltese Falcon.

  • 0:27 The Rocks Are Watching You

  • @Inxeble There's also a furniture store located somewhere called "We've got wood!" so.. yeah, little play on words, there

  • they really need to add a feature that enables you to repair multiple properties at the same time.. I rake in something like $115k/5 minutes now and it's really annoying to have to go in and repair each and every individual property.. make it so you can either repair all in a given area, repair all, or repair as much as you can afford! Gah!

  • @Inxeble Yup.

    Technically "MourningWood,"

    But yeh.

  • @thomas94skywalker o.O i live near guilford, now im waiting in all day just to get my copy of fable 3 :( i shoulda just busted into where it was made

  • Rofl. Did they really name an area Morning Wood?

  • @bryguy95 Dont worry at all. Its far better than the crappy menu in fable 2. The only thing i dont like so far playing the game is the missing of a minimap.

  • The only thing i didnt like so far playing this game is that it doesnt have a minimap.

Far better than Fable 2. The start menu is great even though i thought it weird at first too.Its very easy to use.

Plus the game is a lot improved in combat aspects. Now it ahs some finishers that occur when u give the last hits to the enemies(pretty cool, makes battles not so boring as fable 1 , 2).

Although i liked this over fable 2 i found it worse in comparison to fable 1.

    Fable 1 i finished 7 times :)
