2006 Tunica & Memphis Road Trip

billpg & suchanunrulymind's 2006 Tunica, Mississippi & Memphis, Tennessee road trip. Including the Hollywood Casino, the Tunica Queen sightseeing riverboat on the Mississippi River and a few night shots of downtown Memphis.

We were told that the large sandy looking banks at each side of the river are usually underwater. The water levels were quite low at that time.

I love hollywood Casino..Im going back there Sun.12 Why didnt you show the other things there?Like the titanic the dinosaur the adams family the mermaids and stuff that.?.

Some of those photos had me in them and I'm never on camera. But it's been a while since we were there. They didn't have the Addams family stuff then that I remember. I do have a few shots of the titanic though. My favorite display was removed to make room for the Titanic. It was the two cars from The Great Race starring Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis. They were both on a bit of faux ice floating around.

They are a tad stingy on the payouts. LOL I guess they think the memorabilia will soften the sting.

I love the Hollywood Casino in Tunica....love all the Elvis stuff! love it all, except the payouts! lol
