Look to other mediums of art for different kinds of inspiration from a different source. When people ask how to make it in entertainment, so many talk about ways that only directly include the medium that is being focused on. Broaden, open and widen your range across different mediums to grow ideas, inspiration as well as just for enjoyment.

As a music consultant, I always try to learn about what inspires artists in other artistic mediums to see how that might come back to the music. Success in the music business can come from ideas outside of the music industry.

Musicians and bands can find inspiration from other places. Dont get too lost in the music, there are worlds and worlds more of different styles of art out there for the enjoyment.

This is why I look lovingly back upon my time spent at C.A.S.A. in high school. We worked together hand in hand, inspiring each other with our music, dance, acting, visual art, photography, video, etc.

I feel like I grew so much as an artist in general by surrounding myself with other artistic types and studying the things that inspire them.
